At Acute Printing we looked long and hard before investing in digital printing
equipment. Until recently the quality of digital printing produced at a
reasonable price was not up to our high standards and we also found that to
produce the quality that we were looking for, the cost of the machinery was so
expensive that the cost of Digital Printing was prohibitive.
However, ever changing technology has provided new machinery, released late in 2007, that produces much higher quality than was previously available and also at much more reasonable rates. This is the digital printing technology that we had been waiting for. This new machinery can handle paper stocks form 80gsm bond all the way through to 300 gloss art board We can also print in full colour either 1 or both sides of the sheet simultaneously.
We have also now formed an alliance with the supplier that enables us to update the equipment as newer technology is released.

What is digital printing?
